Subscription services are the latest advance in delivering royalty-free images. Once you purchase a subscription through PayPal™ you can download its contents immediately. You can use it within the specific terms and conditions.

 

Copyright on Royalty Free Images

Royalty Free Images are protected by national copyright laws, international treaty provisions and other applicable laws. Our images are the exclusive property and copyright of Photography Ottawa and/or its licensors. This subscription payment does not buy ownership or copyright to the photograph, but provides the end user a non-exclusive, non-transferable Royalty Free License to use and modify the Licensed Image an unlimited number of times in any and all marketing materials and media, subject to the restrictions contained in this Agreement.

 

Permitted uses

You may use the Licensed Royalty Free Image in any print, online, film, video, broadcast or multi-media product for promotional, advertising, editorial or consumer merchandise use, provided such products are not intended to allow the re-distribution or re-use of the Image. The Images may be reproduced by subcontractors on your behalf under the condition that the subcontractors agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement. You are not authorized to sublicense the Images to anyone. You may alter, crop, manipulate and create derivative works of the Images in accordance with this Agreement. Your rights to the Images are worldwide and perpetual.

 

Non-Permitted Uses

You may not rent, transfer or grant any rights to the Licensed Images to any person or organization. You may not use or permit the use of any Images in a defamatory, libelous, pornographic or unlawful context or contrary to ethical business practices.

 

Photo Credit

You are required to include a credit line in the form “© PhotographyOttawa.ca” as a condition of the Image License where the publishing of credit lines is the norm.
